The elegant 19th-century decor with rich wood paneling made me feel like I'd wandered into a charming fairy tale. The carpeted staircase was a delight for my aging joints, making the hotel easily accessible for seniors like me.
More elevators would enhance accessibility significantly.

The room was decent-sized and clean. The bed was super comfy, which made for a good night's sleep. It had some nice traditional decor, but honestly, it felt a bit dated and could use some refreshing. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the sanctuary, so that was a big plus!

Ideal Location with Classic Charm
I truly enjoyed my stay as the location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk to the sanctuary, making it easy to attend ceremonies. My room was spacious and elegantly decorated, with beautiful period details that added to the ambiance. The breakfast offered a great selection of fresh pastries and local delights that started my day off right. However, I did find that the elevator access could be improved for greater convenience.

The staff, incredibly polite and proactive, even upgraded us without asking, which was a nice touch. The balcony in our room had a glimpse of the evening processions, which was unforgettable.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still decent for what we got.

The location is unbeatable, just a 2-minute walk to the basilica, making it perfect for visitors. The breakfast offered a delightful variety, including fresh croissants and a good range of hot options. However, the breakfast area got quite cramped during peak times, and the elevator access could be improved for convenience. Despite this, the cozy atmosphere made it a lovely spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

On arrival, the staff greeted us warmly, and they even remembered my name throughout my stay. The room was spacious, allowing us to relax comfortably after visiting the sanctuary.
However, the breakfast options felt a bit limited and not worth the price, especially since the fruit selection was underwhelming.
